What Is Your Mission?

Koinonia Institute is dedicated to training and equipping the serious Christian for ministry in today’s world. This, my friends, is our Mission. This is what drives everything we do. This is what demands our entire focus; our energy. This is what we are responsible before God to accomplish.

From the time students log in to KI, we want to keep these thoughts foremost in their thinking: What is Your Mission? What is the Lord preparing you to accomplish for Him? What is your part in the Harvest? Have you asked the Lord of the Harvest to send you out into His harvest field? (Matt 9:37-38)

The Lord has a mission for each one of us to carry out; something that we alone are uniquely qualified to accomplish. No doubt, you already know that each of us have a part in what is known as the Great Commission. Everything that has come into our lives over the years, whether good or bad, is training for our personal mission. In KI, a major requirement at every level of study is the Ministry Journal. This provides you with the means and opportunity to see those experiences in light of your training and preparation for service to God.

As we begin to roll out the new path through Gold Issachar and Koinonos, it is critical that you truly discover your unique mission in God’s harvest field. That is not something that we can tell you. That is something that you can only discover as you spend time in the presence of the Lord and truly seek His guidance. If you are afraid to go there; if you try to “just wing it” and do your own thing your way, you will find that you are always frustrated and nothing seems to work out. You will always be failing to accomplish your Mission, simply because you don’t know what it is.

For more on just how critical it is to know what your mission is and stick to it at all costs, see my article in the September 2019 Personal Update or click here.

Keep growing in the Lord and stay focused on your Mission,
